Quaint Cairns and Magical Great Barrier Reef

Before traveling to Australia, I was so excited that I’d search for Google Images of the Great Barrier Reef literally every day, until I actually landed in Cairns. I couldn’t believe myself until our ferry docked in the Great Barrier Reef and we jumped into the ocean. A whimsical and out of the world experience!

Great Ocean Road

From Melbourne to Twelve Apostles, phew!, it was a day long drive back and forth along the Great Ocean Road. Boring landscapes, beautiful beaches and amazing rock formations, it has it all!

Kuranda, a dainty village in the rainforests of Australia

After reaching Cairns in Australia, we realized we had one full day with nothing planned. While scouring for things to do around, we stumbled upon Kuranda, a beautiful village in the rainforests. In a whim, we decided to take a day-trip. Gondola, scenic railway journey, and the Kuranda Village itself, all turned out to be a fabulous experience.
